A QUOTE FROM A FAMILY WE HELPED

To you, Nancy and Jerry, we offer you our heartfelt thanks for all that you do and for the wonderful way that you do it. Thank you for your compassion and for lightening, even if just a little, the burden of Dravet Syndrome. With love and appreciation,  Serena's Family

New this year - Participation in the Harvest Home Parade

    Thursday, September 6, 2007

This is the first time we've had a float in the Harvest Home Parade and it turned out to be a great night!

We invited our freshman through senior scholarship recipients to join us and we had about 20 people there which is huge since our recipients have a very busy schedule!  We appreciate them wanting to be a part of our Foundation float.

This is a huge parade and hopefully, we can make this an annual event!

    Our next Ronald McDonald Dinner

October 20, "Halloween Dinner with Trick or Treating"

Aubrey's Foundation and the St. Al's Oldtimers will be dressing up to make our dinner party a howling great time.  We will have crafts for the children along with a sensational dinner and to top off the night, we'll have indoor trick-or-treating for the children and their families living at Ronald McDonald House.  This is a very special night that helps these families feel "normal" during a not so normal time of their lives!

If you would like to join us for our next Ronald McDonald House dinner, we would love to have you join us.  Please email Nancy to let us know your desire and to get the next date.

    Foundation Wrap Up: Closing Notes

Jerry and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary!

We hope your family is doing well.  The latest with our family is that Carly just started as a Junior at UC this month, Spencer is doing well at Eastern KY and Jerry and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary on September 17.  Hard to believe!  It's been an eventful 25 years and one that we could have never imagined we'd be given so much - the birth of three wonderful children and the death of one; the joy that comes from seeing them grow and blossom; and now with the Aubrey Rose Foundation, the healing and helping others that comes from this is truly amazing.  We have met so many wonderful, kind-hearted, giving, supportive and most of all, loving people that have touched our lives in our 25 years and for this we are very blessed!

We wish you all happiness and hope to see you on Friday, November 9 for the Let's Dance for the Heart of It - Hooray for Hollywood!  It's a party you don't want to miss!

Love to you and your family!

Jerry, Nancy, Carly, Spencer and Saint Aubrey Hollenkamp
